Sensus Soviet 1989 (bahasa Rusia: Всесоюзная перепись населения 1989, har. 'Sensus Semua Uni 1989'), diadakan dari 12 sampai 19 Januari tahun tersebut, dan merupakan sensus terakhir di Uni Soviet. Sensus ini memiliki total populasi 286.730.819.^[1] Pada 1989, Uni Soviet merupakan negara berpenduduk terbanyak ketiga di dunia, di atas Amerika Serikat (dengan 248.709.873 penduduk menurut sensus 1990), dan berada jauh di bawah Tiongkok dan India.
